As we wrap up an incredible year for Highstreet, let's take a look back at the milestones that shaped 2024. From becoming the official metaverse partner of The World's 50 Best in May to launching The High Life, we've opened doors to exciting new adventures and kept you in the loop every step of the way.
This is leading up to a great release in 2025 that our community has been waiting for. In this issue of our newsletter, you'll get another glimpse of what it's like in a day in the life of bots working hard in the Chaos Gardens, keeping the constantly growing vegetation under control. Are they protectors of Highstreet City, or is something strange afoot?
But first, let's dive into the highlights of the year and toast to even bigger things ahead in 2025! 🎉
Looking Back, Leaping Forward
It's been an incredible year. We launched The High Life to showcase how the Highstreet team is building Highstreet World, and featured the dynamic people who are hard at work to create our VR MMORPG and metaverse. Some of the highlights from the past year include writeups on our game designers' progress in creating the game and metaverse, Q&As with team members all over the world, and of course our comic set in Solera, Origins.
The team has plenty more content planned for 2025, and we'll dive into Highstreet World in more detail, from the game's art and visual design to the backstories of characters that you'll encounter. Keep an eye out for future editions of this newsletter!

One More Note for the Year
Before we wrap up 2024, we also want to share one last update from our team. Our game designers have been hard at work to lay the foundations of a release that will be available to the Highstreet community next year. It's a team-based, wave-based roguelike that will later on become a mini-game within Highstreet World.
This release will offer a taste of the core MMO components of Highstreet World: playable characters, enemies and enemy AI, inventory functions, combat systems, gestures and abilities, and plenty more. We've also gathered learnings from our demo hosted in September, so the data from that experience has helped us hone our game design.
With this drop, we're on a clear path to build our VR MMO for you. We're glad that you're on this journey with us, and we appreciate all the support that you've shared so far!
